Ji Han Jae is a South Korean martial artist who is often referred to as the "Father of Hapkido". He was born on July 20, 1936, in Andong, South Korea. Han Jae was trained in various martial arts such as Taekkyon, Judo, and Boxing before developing Hapkido, which he perfected over the years.
He founded the first Hapkido School in Korea in 1957, and since then, he has trained thousands of students and martial arts enthusiasts around the world. Han Jae has also authored several books and instructional videos on Hapkido.
In addition to his martial arts achievements, Han Jae has also acted in various Korean films, such as "Guns and Talks" and "The Classic". He was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame in 1991 and received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to the martial arts world.
